Why I Love the Olympics!

Last night the U.S. men's 4x100 relay team won gold, in an amazing finish. Victory was even sweeter knowing that French swimmer Alain Bernard had said “The Americans? We’re going to smash them. That’s what we came here for.”
You can watch the race here...definitely worth the ending :-)!

That race was FANTASTIC! INCREDIBLE! AWESOME! The Olympics always deliver a few standout moments and this one will be talked about for a long time!...take THAT, French dudes!

This race paves the way for Phelps to beat the all time record for gold medals too! I am so excited to see if he can do it!

That race was incredible! We had company over and we were all huddled around the TV watching to see if that last guy could catch up. My two year old was screaming "go, go, go!!". (Yes, he was still awake, but it was worth it. :)

I don't mean to hog your blog but I
just had to tell you what the french trainer said in his interview about loosing the gold medal(talk about sore losers)
He said that the only reason America won was because our guy was "riding the french guy's wave that he created from such powerful strokes, and pushed the US to advantage" - now, I don't know about that..... I do know that the phenomenon exists, but really still, do you have to give excuses at the Olympics? I mean, you got silver anyway and time was only like 1/10th of second away....
Sorry don't mean to be babbling on and on I just thought it was RIDICULOUS!
