The California Camping Adventure

But first, a few remaining pictures from Chrissy and Zach's wedding
(and Chrissy, by the way, we are all still waiting for you to post some pictures!):

We saw Addie getting her picture taken quite often and I'm curious to see some of them! She is always doing something entertaining :-). I could have sworn we got a picture of Addie trying to eat the cake, but apparently we missed it. Throughout the reception we would catch her trying to get herself bites of the cake using the cake cutter - luckily she was never successful and Chrissy and Zach were the first ones to break into it. Addie was thrilled when she finally got to dig in though!

Some card playing in San Antonio and then the long drive began Monday morning. I heard the night time driving was a little bit of a nightmare with Addie, who would wake up every couple of hours screaming (luckily she didn't do that on the drive home!). Other than that though, the drive went well and it looks like the girls had lots of fun along the way!

Let the camping begin! Ella looks thrilled with every aspect of the experience...setting up the tent, going fishing, eating s'mores, exploring and eating fish! I think we have lots of camping trips in our future!

I don't know. Ella told me it was a chipmunk and I told her chipmunks are cute...something that things definitely isn't! I'd guess a gopher though :-).
