20 Weeks

I get weekly emails about Preston's development and today he is 20 weeks old.
I have never thought about 20 weeks after the baby is born, but man oh man do I count down the days to that week when I'm pregnant! It's the week to finally find out the gender and marks the half point of the pregnancy. How different these past 20 weeks have been than the prior 20 before Preston joined the family! Happy 20 weeks Preston :-)!

Addie was playing so nicely with Preston yesterday afternoon. I thought for sure when I saw her eyeing him in this video that she was going to take one of his toys from him, but she gave him one! Hooray Addie!
Who needs TV when you have a big sister to entertain you?

Arrangements

It's always interesting to see just what the girls have been up to when I "release" them from their quiet time.
They get quite creative when left in a room alone...

I'm just trying to stay on top of each day right now...you know I'm busy when I've only blogged 2 out of the last 5 days! Hopefully tomorrow I can get caught up on the rest of my pictures.
I also wanted to share that Preston is now an official member of the family :-). There is a friend from church, Samantha, who does the vinyl lettering I needed to add his name to our Family Home Evening chart (I "made" it when I was pregnant with Addie).
It's a perfect match.

Ella thinks we are in definite need of one more child to fill in our last heart.
We'll have to get a pet :-).

No Tanks

No one was feeling the pre-church pictures yesterday :-).
As Addie would say, "No Tanks."
You win some, you lose some.

There were more smiles to be seen on Friday. I took the kiddos to eat lunch with Ella at school and it just happened to be the first day of the school store. Luckily I had enough quarters on hand for Addie, Ella and Ella's little friend Kirsten to pick out some goodies.

Addie managed to get as dirty as possible later that afternoon at the park.
Here she is playing with William in the clean grill (at least she wasn't throwing the dirt anymore).

Saturday we were one of the families assigned to help clean the church and the kids and I got every table in the building sparkling while Mike vacuumed. Ella and Addie actually thought it was great fun and were good little workers. Organizing the nursery toys however, didn't go as well, it's too hard to not just play with them :-).

Things That Make Me Happy Lately

Cooler temperatures...playing more outside, enjoyable breezes for walks and runs, cute tights for the girls, putting away the summer clothes (at least for this week) for new fall ones.
Good TV shows finally back (Survivor, the Office, etc.), sometimes feeling caught up on my life even if it doesn't last long, getting to see Ella's excited face when I come to her school, exercising again, the Cheesecake Factory (especially when it's almost free), having life back on a semi-schedule, and of course,
these 3 little crazies...

(another of our librarian friends, Miss Janet, is a cat lover like Addie and gave her these little cats that used to be her daughters...she has been playing with them non-stop)
