Memo to Preston

Dear Preston,
You are still 6 months old.

Please slow it down a little bit!

Love, Mom

Preston has been an early mover from the get go and this week he added pulling up to a stand to his list of achievements. He has been pulling up to his knees on everything he could manage for a couple weeks now and I turned around to find him standing one evening this week. Now we just need to teach him how to get back he stops standing up in his crib and then crying because he is stuck :-)!
Tuesday-pulling up to kneel by everything in sight (and doing is best to clean the door)
Wednesday-Getting more mischievous about where to kneel and what to do while there.
Friday-Discovered a new love, the alphabet magnets, and then that evening PULLED TO A STAND! 6 1/2 months old. He has since been practicing his stand in other locations.
Sunday- Climbed up and into his little bouncy seat, discovering a whole new way to make it bounce...then tried to stand up while in it. Where did this crazy little guy come from?! This bouncy seat has been one of his favorite play things in my room. I can't even count how many times he pulled up on it and played and then tipped over and hit his head on our tile bathroom floor. Eventually I got smart enough to move it onto the carpet, although he still looks quite shocked when he falls over :-).
What adventures does this week hold?

crazy how fast your little guy is moving and learning - it sounds like he's well on his way to cruising around... fun!

My goodness Preston is a busy boy. We have the Christmas village and train under the tree...this will be interesting.

I've heard boys are WAY more active than girls and this post proves it! Our little guy is sure active in the ultrasounds so we'll see how he is once out of the womb! It looks like Preston can sure help him explore!
