With our church schedule being late this year, a few challenges arise. The biggest of course is Preston's nap schedule (he typically takes his nap from 1-4pm), but then there is the problem of keeping the kids all clean ALL MORNING LONG. That is hard and means no outside playing most of the time. It also results in a messy house by the time we leave for church, but what can you do? This past Sunday the kids were restless and driving us crazy so I told them to go get a blanket and make a fort. They made one in the dining room and then came into the family room where I was ironing and made what Ella told me was a movie theater. So, I gave them some popcorn and they were happy until it was time to get ready for church.
And even though this little guy has been much more independent and defiant lately, he is just still so dang cute!
We also noticed that day that our caterpillars had changed into their chrysalides overnight.
Ella had been saving her money for a long time and we went to Claire's on Saturday for her to go shopping. After MUCH deliberation she picked these best friend necklaces which she decided to give to her friends Shea and Naomi (she kept the pink one for herself). The girls and I then went to Tutti Frutti for a special treat and I LOVED it...I want to go every single day now!
