Glacier - More Hiking and Some Craftiness

Well, the kids were definitely less than thrilled when the next day, Tues the 17th, we told them we were going to go on another hike. We did promise them this one would be really easy and short, but I think they were a little worried still :-). We did a nice little walk and it was perfect...all on boardwalk, nice and short, still beautiful (I think it was called Trail of Cedars). Then the kids thought they were starving, although it wasn't even 11am yet, so we found a nice place to sit and eat. The Legerskis were more hard core than us and from there went on another nearly 3 mile hike. I knew our kids would be a disaster so we opted to head back to our pretty campsite to hang out for awhile instead. I did some crafts with the kids while Mike went and did some fishing. When Liz and family got back to the site her kids joined in the crafting fun and the men went for more fishing. I had brought paints and she had brought jewelry to make and the kids had a blast. It was our turn for dinner that night (Liz and JP treated us to yummy foil dinners and jambalaya the previous 2 nights) so we had hot dogs and more smore's, this time with Reece's Peanut Butter cups. Preston and Simone nearly gave everyone a heart attack when we found out they had been eating wild berries they found. Mike tasted one and said they tasted good, but that didn't really help us in knowing if they were safe or not :-). He then found a ranger who told us they were huckleberries so Preston continued eating away!
