End of the Year Parties and the Last Day

Tuesday, the 4th, both girls had their end of the year parties. They were HOT, especially Addie's which was at 1pm, but Preston and I stopped by them both (put sunscreen on the girls) and took some pictures of the fun before hurrying back to the AC. There were bounce houses, a dunk booth, DJ and best of all, snow cones. Ella got to dunk one of her teachers and thought it was great :-). It was definitely a fun way to end the school year!

The next day was a half day and the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!
We had planned to go out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate (Mike still had to go to his school through the end of the week) and then Ella found out there was going to be an Activity Days pool party. She REALLY wanted to go to that instead and luckily we were able to find friends to help get her there and back so that everything worked out. We had swim practices later in the afternoon and when we came home Nana had left popsicle treats in our freezer to celebrate the last day. Hooray for summer!!!
one last HOT walk to the back of the school to pick up the girls

What an awesome way to end the school year! I love that the school had a snow cone stand for the kids. A snow cone sounds delicious right now, but they are hard to come by up here. Happy summer!
