Utah - BYU

After completely stuffing ourselves we headed up to BYU to walk around campus and shop at the bookstore. I LOVE BYU! Whenever I am back on campus I just want to be a student again...except without any tests or papers to write :-).
We started out in the art museum and then headed over to the new visitor's center where we waited for one of the little golf cart tours of the campus. We were surprised by the intensity of the sun during the days in Utah! Although it isn't humid (so being in the shade is wonderful), the sun is HOT...you definitely feel the difference being up high in the mountains! The tour was a great way to see all the highlights of the campus while sitting in the shade and not walking :-). We hopped off the tour by the bookstore and went shopping before checking out my building, Mike's building and the JFSB.

The kids loved this one! You were supposed to say nice things to the good plant and mean things to the evil one.

After all the walking around campus we were ready for a cool treat and I was SOOO excited to try these huge snow cones! I never got brave enough to try the custard toppings (I didn't want to ruin my whole yummy treat if I didn't love it) but I did Love them plain and the kids thought it was awesome to get one so huge!

We drove around looking at our old apartments, the hospital where Ella was born and the townhouse Mike and I lived in right after we got married (the corner unit). Then we stopped to check out the athletic facilities before heading back to the RV.
