California - Fremont

The drive from Reno to Fremont, Mike's hometown, wasn't bad at all and we were immediately welcomed to some California traffic...at 12:30 on a Thursday :-). We could not wait to eat at one of the many places on our list for lunch and after parking the RV immediately drove to El Patio. It was heavenly...man do we miss shredded beef tacos in Texas! We spent the rest of the afternoon showing the kids around...Mike's old schools (with a stop to play on the elementary playground), old houses he lived in growing up, the church, etc. We also stopped by Coyote Hills for a bit, but pictures of that later.

This is the house Mike's family lived in when we met and got married. It looks a little different now than it used to, but it's still the cutest house on the street.
