Utah - Bowling and our Practice Goodbye

Monday (22nd) was to be our last day in Utah. We planned to take the kids bowling where Mike and I went on our blind date, get one last lunch at Café Rio and then hit the road. We added in breakfast at Guru's and ice cream at the Creamery though too :-). Then we got the car hooked up to the RV and headed out of town. The plan was to drive to Wendover that night just to be sure the RV was feeling ok driving, then to Reno the next day and on to the Bay Area. The RV however had other plans. It was done. It started dying about 60 miles outside of Salt Lake. We could get it going for a bit and then it would die again. We called AAA about getting a tow and called Heber to let him know we were coming back to see them sooner than expected :-). We get 100 miles free towing for the RV with AAA and guess how many miles we were from Heber's when we put his address in the GPS? 100 on the dot. Pretty crazy. The tow driver called us to verify our location and he suggested a couple things for Mike to try to get it going again. In the end they were enough to get us back to Heber's without a tow, but not without breaking down multiple times along the way. The last time we were 2 miles from their house and I think Mike pretty much willed the beast to make it that last stretch. We were very thankful it happened when it did and that we were near good friends who took us in late at night and helped us figure out our next plan of action.
Preston slept in a record amount that Monday morning

I learned on this trip that Café Rio has tostadas that are basically the same as the salad but smaller and $2 cheaper. I don't eat the flour tortilla anyway, so getting it on a little tostada shell works just as well for me! But order extra dressing if you do it, they give you a smaller one.
