Hope's Homecoming Game!

The beautiful and talented Miss Hope made it onto her high school's homecoming court. They were showing off the court and announcing the queen during the halftime of the football game, so we put on as much blue as we could and went to cheer her on. Unfortunately when I got to the game and tried to put my zoom lens on my new camera I discovered it didn't fit! So, it was a bummer, but luckily we were sitting pretty close and my everyday lens was able to at least capture the night even if I didn't get the close-ups I wanted. I went to the game fully prepared to sweat and be miserable, but it was actually a gorgeous evening with a great breeze. Hope didn't win queen, but I think it's pretty awesome she was on the court, and it brought back fun high school memories for me. The kids could have cared less about the game and I can't say I cared any more than they did :-). Preston made friends with a little boy sitting in front of us who was on a phone playing games, Addie played on Grammy's phone and Ella ate her sour patch kids and was a big girl about it :-).

Finally, the moment we were waiting for! My dad looked cute walking her out there and Hopie was GORGEOUS! I am so glad she is such a good example of being modest to my girls.
