Exploring the City of San Fran

Monday, the 14th, was our day to have fun in the city! We made it just in time for the first Blue and Gold Fleet cruise to depart. It ended up working out perfectly because we walked on right before they left and still had a great spot at the back of the boat to relax in peace. The front was crazy crowded and we had just as good a view once we went under the bridge and turned around. We went under the boat for a bit on the way out to the bridge and I was surprised no one else did. It was a good place to escape the wind for a bit. This was our first time doing the cruise and it was fun to see the bridge from a different vantage point.
We walked around the little downtown area more this year and I really enjoyed it. It is such a fun city and we bought some cute California t-shirts from one of the little vendors.
For lunch we went to the Codmother Fish and Chips and it was pretty dang good! We ordered waaay too much food, but we had to try it all, right?! They even had some dessert options...fried oreos and snickers. We tried both and then were too stuffed for Ghiradelli. I was a little sad about it, but we've been the last couple years so I knew I could survive :-).
We walked around a bit more, bought some more fun little souvenirs from street vendors and then started our drive down to Monterey for our next stop.
