Meet the Teacher and our Last Week of Summer

The week of August 18th was our last week of summer freedom and fun before settling back into our routines of school, practices and piano lessons.
We tried to live it up as much as we could! We had friends over, went to friends' houses, fit in some more time at the pool, hit Chuck E Cheese and Inflatable Zone, and just relaxed and were lazy at home. Mike and Ella went on date that weekend to see the new Ninja Turtle movie and I let Addie and Preston pick somewhere for us to go for lunch. I was excited when they picked Lupe's and not McDonalds :-)!
Thursday evening (the 21st) was Meet the Teacher night at the Elementary school. It was a little crazy for us, especially with SIX teachers to meet between the three kiddos, but we fit it all in! We got our new Fielder tshirts (Preston was THRILLED they had a minecraft version this year) and I brought home all my "homework" as the kids like to call the millions of forms I have to fill out. Then we kept up our ice cream tradition and headed to baskin robbins afterwards. Preston was pretty excited to get to join the fun this year.
