Our Fancy Back to School Dinner 2014

Our fancy back to school dinner is now a tradition that the kids really look forward to. It started in 2010 and although we have ended up winging it a few times (like last year), I know they would be sad if we didn't do it. This year we did fresh flowers and I had the idea to have some fun with balloons along with our usual goal writing. We wrote our goals and talked about them and then we wrote wishes for our year on balloons and let them fly. It was a great idea in concept but the kids' balloons all got caught in our trees, haha! Mike freed them though, so hopefully all the wishes come true. We got all prepped for the next day setting out backpacks and cute outfits, painting nails and the kids had their Father's blessings from Mike. I still couldn't believe I would be taking all THREE to the elementary school in the morning!!! but I was excited :-)

I didn't want Preston to get spaghetti sauce on his church pants, hence the sweat shorts FYI :-)

and this was Preston before church that morning...super excited to go :-).
I will say the past few weeks have been better. He's not thrilled to go, but at least he's not crying about it.
