After a busy Saturday of non-stop photo shoots and Addie's good friend Brooklynn's baptism on October 11th, we FINALLY got the rest of our Halloween decorating done!
I owe a big thanks to my friend Katie for being my assistant again during these mini-shoots. Not only does it make the day more bearable to have someone there with you, but she is a huge help and took some pictures of me working that are fun to have.
That Monday was Columbus Day so the kids had the day off of school (Mike didn't unfortunately). My friend Laurie was doing some little Halloween costume mini-shoots so I had her take pictures of Addie, the rainbow macaw. Miss Adeline was so disappointed last year that we never found "bird wings made of real feathers that flap" so this time she settled on real feather wings that are stationary. And she loves it!!! I am so happy that she loves her costume so much and these pictures of her doing her thing are perfect!
"Look Mom, I have antlers!"
That afternoon POURED rain and we met up for lunch with our friends (who are moving after the holidays and we are so sad :-(!)
And a few more highlights from the week...
