The Final Week

We were all SOOO ready for Christmas break to arrive! The last week flew by with lots of fun activities filling our days and nights.
It kicked off for Mike and I on Saturday, the 13th, when we flew to Dallas for a quick 24 hour trip to see Myth Busters Live. This was Mike's birthday and Christmas present for the year and he had been looking forward to it for a looong time. We dropped the kids off to Nana and Grandad and headed to the airport. We found an Alamo upon arrival and saw The Theory of Everything, making it a science filled weekend :-). The show itself was really fun and entertaining...plus our seats were awesome!
the houston airport was insanely empty when we left

Mike was a hero and rescued one of our car Rudolph antlers from the road when the wrong window went down accidentally.

The 18th was a busy day! Mack and Cheryl and baby Mark arrived so I stopped by to see them at lunch time. And then after school we had piano (with a park pit stop first), ran Ella to swim practice and then went right from practice to her team swim party. Ella had such a blast!

Finally, it was the last day of school...and a half day at that! The kids had their winter parties and they were all at the same time so I ran around like a mad woman trying to spend time in each classroom. I snuck in a few pictures before heading home to prepare for the rest of the day.
