4th of July Festivities

I wanted to get a good picture of the kids looking patriotic this year since I didn't last year when we were in Utah so we headed out first thing in the morning and tried to beat the heat. Then it was back home to relax for a bit and see our neighborhood parade. That afternoon we headed to my parents for swimming and a barbeque. Scotto was back in town just in time for the 4th which was perfect since he makes putting on a fireworks show all the more fun. Then it was back to our house for snacks and hanging out while we waited for it to get dark enough outside. It was a perfectly traditional and fun 4th...and also meant only one more week until Hope's wedding!!!
