Christmas Prepping and Santa Visiting!

It was a mad rush to get Christmas up while also getting caught up on laundry after the cruise.
We started with the inside decorating, squeezed in our Santa visit Wednesday after school (and Nana was still able to come even though it was last minute, hooray!) and then got all the outside lights up Thursday in shifts between piano, swimming and lego class. And now we get to enjoy it feeling like Christmas :-)!

I HATE driving downtown on weekdays and luckily this day Mike had enough time in his day to drive me. It was aweesome :-)!

The only thing better than opening your mailbox to a stack of Christmas cards is when they are all pictures I took. So fun!

Saturday the 5th was the most beautiful afternoon so the family came along when I did a make-up mini shoot that was near a park.

Later that night we met up with friends and went to the Elf Family Movie night at the Alamo. So fun! The kids had a blast. There were white balloons for a snowball fight, cotton balls for the doctor visit, scratch and sniff cards for different parts of the movie, bubbles for the singing in the shower scene and jingle bell necklaces for singing at the end.

Our new inflatable..."I will never put inflatables in my yard!" I thought before kids. But Preston has been begging for another one and was so excited it arrived. When we were driving through a nice neighborhood last week with beautiful classy white lights everywhere he said "they must have wasted all their money on their house so they can't have a blow-up!" If we get another he will think we are rich :-).

Class picture day and thanks to Preston's reminder last night they are looking cute instead of wearing minecraft and Taylor swift tshirts. I pre-ordered the pictures so that would have been a bummer 😂. Preston is my hero!

Mike and I had a business meeting planning for 2016 and trying out Bernie's Burger Bus. Delicious and a definite perk of self employment ;). We may have already gone back again!
