Ella's First Year at Girls' Camp

Even though Ella isn't 12 yet, she will be just in the knick of time and was still able to go to Girls' Camp this year. I'm serving in Young Women currently and they ended up needing me to go up for a few days which I was really excited about since Ella would be there! The camp was great! Air conditioned cabins (our ward had a huge one because we had so many girls), pools, water slide, zip line, sand volleyball, etc. The stake did a magnificent job organizing everything and our ward leaders were so loving and made sure each girl had a blast and grew spiritually at the same time. I was sad to leave half way through the week but also excited for Ella to get to experience it on her own as well. She came home tired but so happy as well!
